Springshed Development Project

In the hilly areas of Western ghat regions the spring sheds are life line for the rural community. They provide water for both irrigation as well as drinking water. Due to destruction and degradation of natural resources and adverse impact of climate change over a period of time, these spring sheds are getting dried up causing severe water scarcity during summer.  There is absolute need for conservation and storage of water through scientific spring shed development approach. So SJSM implemented Springshed Development Project In Village Gavadewadi, Tal. Patan, Dist. Satara (Maharashtra).
